Welcome to the website for the Church in Wixams.

Wixams Church is an Ecumenical Church development project jointly sponsored by the Baptist Union, the Church of England, the Methodist Church and the United Reformed Church;  and also working in association with the Roman Catholic Church.

We are various parts of the one Universal Church, working together to demonstrate to love of Christ to our neighbourhood.

"[Together] you are the Body of Christ and each one of you is part of it." [1 Corinthians 12: 27].

Although we are a fairly new church in an equally new village, there are already several years of background work as many faithful people have nurtured the church project toward this point in time.

Rev'd Tim Jackson, accompanied by his long-suffering wife Bev has  been appointed to establish and grow a new Ecumenical church in the new village of Wixams.

It is a wonderful opportunity to create something fresh and vibrant for our community as we seek to show the continuing relevance of the Christian faith and the love of God for all people to those around us.
